Oral Surgery is not fun
Okay folks I know I am a little behind. I'm sorry for that. So on 12/4/09 I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled. Today is 12/14/09 and I still can't feel the lower right side of my mouth. There is no part of this that is fun. On the up side I can eat on my left side and have even moved up to some solid foods. However I still can't eat the stuff that I love. Chips, cereal, anything hard can't eat it. Still a little sensitive. I tried taking oxycodone for the pain that made me really sick. Yes that is true I am a rookie and I am proud of it. So now I have been taking Advil like it's water. As for the numbness or the inability to feel anything on my lower lip the doctor says it will take anywhere from two days to three weeks to get the feeling back. Life is grand. Here is to my recovery. Check back soon.

Thought For Today
I always like to have thoughts for today. And I'm going to do a lot better on trying to have them everyday. Or least every other day.
Here is the thought for the day in lieu of Tiger Woods issues. It just made me think. So here it goes.
Quoting from Tyler Perry's Movie "Why Did I Get Married"
In marriage there is the 80/20 rule. When you marry a person you are not gonna get 100% of that person you may get just get 80. Soon this person comes along giving you the twenty percent that you are not getting from that spouse. But, then you soon realize that person who is 20% has nothing on your 80% spouse...WHY? Because they are just 20%. The thought for the day..
The grass ain't always greener on the other side...now is it

Quote of the day/night
College Again
I will say that almost 7 out of 10 people started college again because of the economy. I will admit if I did not loose my job I would not have gone back to school. But loosing that job was maybe the best thing that ever happened to me. I lost my job on October 23,2008. My fiance and I had just moved in together on October 10, 2008. Talk about a situation that can make or break you. It was not the best time to loose a job. In December I was watching television and a commercial for Kaplan University came on. I thought about it then I laughed at myself for thinking about it. I just paid off student loans from over 7 years prior to that...and I didn't even finish those courses. But, I thought about it and thought about it. If the time were to come again and I lost my job what will I do, what will I have to fall back on. The only choice was to go back to school. I did not want to wish anything bad on myself. But, if presented with this issue again I would like to say that I have a degree that I worked my tail off to get. A lot of people think that online courses are easy. I tell them it's so easy that it is hard. If you think about it, we don't have to get up and go to a classroom. We have to stop what we are doing and log on. A person has to be disciplined to do that in my opinion. Anyway let's just say I made that call and spoke to Anthony and Ihave not looked back yet. I had a few set backs..but I'm still her...Set backs next blog..stay tuned
